This trip starts off in Santiago where you will be met by your friendly local driver who will take you to a charming bed & breakfast in the Pedro de Valdivia suburbs. Early the next morning you will be taken to the famous Concha Y Toro Winery with a bilingual guide. The winery is the biggest wine society in Chile, just south of Santiago, and the tour takes you around the Patronal House and the surrounding park and lagoon, the beautiful vineyards, wine cellars (observing the whole process), and finally to the Wine Shop. The day trip continues along the banks of Maipo River before heading back to Santiago.
That night you will jump onto a very comfortable overnight train to Temuco, arriving early in the morning to pick up your hired vehicle and head down through the stunning Lake District.
This trip is designed to give you the freedom of choosing where to stay and for how long, although we will give you a detailed itinerary to help give you some idea of the top spots to visit.

Take a leisurely road trip down to Pucon at the base of the live Volcano Villarrica, the Huilo Huilo Reserve on the shores of Pirihueico Lake, and Puerto Varas at Lake Llanquihue, ending up in Puerto Montt 7 days later in time for your flight to Santiago.
